Painkiller: Everything We Know About Matthew Broderick’s New Show On Netflix

Matthew Broderick is starring in the new Netflix show Painkiller, and ever since news broke that the veteran comedy actor was tackling a drama bout the rise of OxyContin there's been much anticipation around the Netflix drama. Broderick is one of the most recognizable actors working today, but he's interestingly only known for one iconic role, as the actor played the titular teenager in the '80s classic Ferris Bueller's Day Off. The John Hughes-directed movie is generally considered one of the greatest coming-of-age comedies ever, and it wouldn't be as great if it wasn't for Broderick's brilliant performance as the smart-talking teenager.
