The Resident Evil franchise has never been more popular but fortunately for those fans who appreciate the historic value of the series, they can finally see where the saga began without needing to purchase a PlayStation One. The original Resident Evil trilogy may largely be seen as synonymous with Sony’s first console but the survival horror games were ported to plenty of other devices in the months following the original release. The PC version was famous for including plenty of uncensored content but that version has been lost to time, limited to physical copies that are tough to find.
