Only 1 New Disney Live-Action "Remake" Is Realistically Going To Make $1 Billion

Out of all the live-action Disney remakes on the horizon, Mufasa: The Lion King has the best chance to secure a $1 billion box office gross from them. Disney have been remaking their animated classics since Alice in Wonderland in 2010, with the 2015 Cinderella marking the start of the onslaught of remakes of Disney classics. That said, not all the Disney live-action remakes are direct copies of their animated original, as Disney has also focused on origin stories of previously unexplored characters.
