One Piece’s Missing Live-Action Character Is Great For Season 2

Trailers for Netflix's live-action adaptation of One Piece have made it clear that one key character will be missing from season 1. Even though the MIA personality is a fan favorite, this decision isn't all bad news. In fact, it indicates that the team behind One Piece is banking on a season 2 renewal. Based on Eiichiro Oda's long-running manga series of the same name, One Piece is largely considered one of the best manga of all time. It's also the best-selling manga and comic series in history, which means a live-action adaptation has a lot to draw from.
