With the wait for the adaptation nearing an end, Netflix reveals a letter from One Piece creator Eiichiro Oda with rules for the live-action show. Chronicling the adventures of aspiring pirate king Monkey D. Luffy and his friends searching for the eponymous treasure, the show marks the latest live-action adaptation of an anime produced by Netflix, following in the footsteps of the Death Note movie and short-lived Cowboy Bebop show, among others. Unlike these prior shows, Oda has been very involved with One Piece's adaptation.
