Nun 2 Global Box Office Earns 2nd Best Conjuring Opening Ever (In Spite Of Lukewarm U.S.)

The Nun 2 has had a huge opening weekend at the global box office. The movie, which is the ninth entry in the Conjuring Universe, follows the demonic nun Valak (Bonnie Aarons) as it haunts the halls of a French boarding school, prompting another face-off with Sister Irene (Taissa Farmiga). The movie is a direct sequel to 2018's The Nun, which explored the origin story of Valak after the demon's first appearance in 2016's The Conjuring 2.
