Normal People Season 2 Return Prospects Get Candid Response From Daisy Edgar-Jones

The prospect of Normal People returning for a season 2 receives a candid response from star Daisy Edgar-Jones. Based on the 2018 novel by Sally Rooney, the psychological drama was adapted into a miniseries for BBC Three and Hulu in 2020. Primarily written by Rooney and Alice Birch, the show followed the complicated relationship between high school students Marianne Sheridan (Daisy Edgar-Jones) and Connell Waldron (Paul Mescal), as they navigate adulthood in their undergraduate years at Trinity College in Dublin. Nominated for four Primetime Emmy Awards, Normal People received critical acclaim, amassed a loyal fan following and made stars out of leads Edgar-Jones and Mescal.
