New Walmart+ Perk Gives Members Free Access to Pickleball Courts

All products and services featured are independently chosen by editors. However, Billboard may receive a commission on orders placed through its retail links, and the retailer may receive certain auditable data for accounting purposes.

Walmart just made getting active more accessible — especially if you’ve been looking to hop on the pickleball trend. The online retailer has expanded its partnership with booking platform Break the Love up to 250,000 comped pickleball courts to help meet the increasing demand to play pickleball across the nation, according to an official press release.

The perk is a new addition for Walmart+ members and can also be redeemed for non-members with a valid Walmart receipt. All you need to do is take a screenshot of your Walmart+ member hub page or a recent customer receipt and upload it to the designated section on the booking page. Along with court reservations, members and customers will have access to bookings for teams and competitions, to encourage being active all year.

Being a Walmart+ member means you won’t always have to make a purchase in order to make a pickleball court reservation — and includes a variety of other exclusive member-only perks including free day-of shipping on eligible items, access to Walmart+ Week’s member-only deals, free Paramount+ and even grocery delivery. New users can take advantage of a seven-day free trial, which includes the pickleball perk and more for no cost.

Once the weeklong free trial is over, you’ll be charged $12.95 a month or save 37% with an annual membership at $98 a year.

And, if you need to stock up on top-rated gear, Walmart has put together a curated shop featuring their picks of the best pickleball gear and apparel, including running shorts and gym bags. To help you serve style on the court, ShopBillboard put together a few of our favorite picks from the collection below.
