Netflix Confirms Sequel To Hit 2021 Horror Movie Trilogy In Development, Extends Franchise

Netflix confirms that Fear Street 4, a sequel to their hit horror trilogy, is officially in development. Based on the books by R.L. Stine, the three films follow separate but connected stories concerning groups of teenagers who try to break a centuries-old curse looming over their town, with each part set during a different year – 1994, 1978, and 1666 respectively. The Fear Street trilogy was released on Netflix over three consecutive weeks in 2021 and received positive reviews from critics and strong viewership from audiences, opening the door for a potential continuation.
