Netflix has become known for canceling some of its most popular shows after their first seasons. However, the cancelation of one particular fantasy show with 84% on Rotten Tomatoes still makes me sad over a year later. Premiering on Netflix in July 2020, Simon Barrys Warrior Nun had generally positive reviews when it was released. Its fresh plot, involving a 19-year-old waking in a morgue to discover she is now part of an ancient order of demon-fighting nuns, was surprising when it was first released. However, fans loved the show, gaining it a second season, which ended on a cliffhanger.
