Monk 2 Gets Cautious Response From Star After Movie Revival With 95% RT Score

Tony Shalhoub addresses the possibility of a sequel to Mr. Monk’s Last Case: A Monk Movie. Fourteen years after the popular series concluded on the USA Network, Shalhoub reprised the role of Adrian Monk for the film revival released on Peacock, which earned a 95% critical score on Rotten Tomatoes. Beyond reuniting familiar characters, the revival saw the titular detective struggling with his mental health, having regressed during the COVID-19 pandemic, and taking on a sudden and deeply personal case related to his stepdaughter, Molly.
