Mission: Impossible 8 finally has its title revealed, and it teases the end for Ethan Hunt, which is reportedly against Tom Cruise’s wishes. After first playing the character in 1996, Cruise returned as superspy Ethan for 2023’s Mission: Impossible Dead Reckoning. The eighth film, which features the return of franchise veteran Christopher McQuarrie as director, was delayed, and was said to be getting a new title after Dead Reckoning dropped its “Part One” subtitle.
