Power Rangers Dino Thunder came out almost a decade after Mighty Morphin, yet it was the perfect sequel to the original Power Rangers show. Mighty Morphin Power Rangers ran from 1993 to 1995 and ended its run with 145 episodes. To this day, MMPR is the Power Rangers show with the most episodes by far. To put things in perspective, the only other Power Rangers team to headline the show for three years was Dino Fury/Cosmic Fury, which, in total, accounted for only 54 episodes. This is why Mighty Morphin can be considered a franchise of its own.
