MaXXXine‘s Rotten Tomatoes score debut keeps A24’s 2024 movie streak alive. A direct sequel to 2022’s X, which was followed by the prequel Pearl in 2023, the forthcoming slasher film features the return of Mia Goth as Maxine Minx as she moves to Los Angeles to chase her dream of becoming a famous actress and is targeted by the Night Stalker. Written and directed once again by Ti West, MaXXXine‘s cast is the most-studded in the series yet with the addition of Elizabeth Debicki, Moses Sumney, Michelle Monaghan, Bobby Cannavale, Halsey, Lily Collins, Giancarlo Esposito, and Kevin Bacon.
