MaXXXine‘s ending explained one of the central themes of the entire X trilogy, and highlights how it can (potentially) be the key to personal growth and success. MaXXXine is the third entry in the Ti West written/directed horror series. MaXXXine brings back Mia Goth’s Maxine Minx, the only survivor of X. Now living in Los Angeles in 1985, Maxine’s attempts to break into a film career are threatened by a mysterious private investigator, a pair of detectives, and a mysterious killer all seemingly caught in her orbit.
