Major League Soccer on Apple TV+: Here’s How to Stream Lionel Messi’s Inter Miami Matches for Free

After launching its 2023 season on Feb. 25, Major League Soccer is heating up thanks to Lionel Messi. The soccer star and Inter Miami will take on the New York Red Bulls on Saturday (Aug. 26).


Messi will make his league match debut in the game streaming exclusively on MLS Season Pass.

Last-minute tickets to the match, which will be held at Red Bull Arena in Harrison, N.J., range from around $378 to $1,800 on StubHub. Tickets are available on Vivid Seats, Seat Geek and Ticketmaster for around the same price.

Fans who can’t make it to the game can catch all the action on MLS Season Pass. In addition to this weekend’s match, MLS Season Pass subscribers get to stream other Leagues Cup and Inter Miami CF matches and tons more content, including Spanish-language programs.


Inter Miami is scheduled to play Nashville SC on Aug. 30, Los Angeles FC on Sept. 3 and Sporting Kansas City on Sept. 9.


Messi made his highly-anticipated debut for Inter Miami CF on July 21. The team faced LIGA MX side Cruz Azul in the opening match for Leagues Cup, a new North American, World Cup-style soccer tournament streaming exclusively on MLS Season Pass. Inter Miami has won eight games in a row since Messi’s debut.
