While Baldur’s Gate 3 fansare still waiting for the game’s upcoming Patch 8 update, developer Larian Studios is already moving on to its next project. A long-time developer of RPGs, Larian found relatively modest success with titles like Divinity: Original Sin and its sequel in the years before the breakout popularity of Baldur’s Gate 3 in 2023 and is looking now to keep that momentum with the studio’s next project – which, the studio has confirmed, won’t be a prospective Baldur’s Gate 4.
