Laneige’s Cult-Favorite Lip Mask Just Dropped a Juicy Watermelon Flavor and It’s Still in Stock (for Now)

All products and services featured are independently chosen by editors. However, Billboard may receive a commission on orders placed through its retail links, and the retailer may receive certain auditable data for accounting purposes.

Laneige has built a cult-following in the K-beauty space, even landing celebrity approval from Anyone But You‘s Sydney Sweeney, who is not only the ambassador for the beauty brand, but has been known to sport Laneige on the red carpet (and even her SNL promo from February). Their most-beloved product that’s left fans clamoring to collect every new flavor is the Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask — and the brand just dropped a new limited-edition watermelon version for summer.

The last exclusive flavor the K-beauty brand dropped was cotton candy and that quickly sold-out, which means the watermelon one most likely won’t stay on shelves for long. And the stats only further prove it, as the brand claims one lip treatment is sold every two seconds, according to their 2023 data.

ShopBillboard got to test out the limited-edition flavor for ourselves and it not only has an intoxicating watermelon Jolly Rancher-like scent, but provides almost instant hydration once applied. A little goes a long way too, which means one tub will last you awhile.

Laneige Watermelon Lip Sleeping Mask

Consider this sleeping lip mask the embodiment of summer in a tub as it comes with an adorable green and red packaging paired with a sweet scent. You can use it before bed to help deliver moisture all night long, so you can wake up with soft and hydrated lips rather than a cracked and chapped mouth. It’s also versatile enough to use as a daily lip balm and is compact enough to throw in your purse or backpack.

The formula uses natural ingredients too like shea butter, vitamin C and coconut oil to help provide longtime moisture while also creating a barrier to protect your lips from pollutants.

More than 19,000 shoppers have left reviews on Sephora, with most calling it a “holy grail” of lip products for its nourishing ingredients. One person even gushed that, “This is the best lip mask ever! The watermelon scent smells so good and sweet! It’s so smooth on the lips and very hydrating! The applicator is easy to use too. It’s definitely worth the buy and perfect for summer!”
