Warning: Spoilers For Rabbit Hole Episodes 1-4 Below!Kiefer Sutherland's new thriller Rabbit Hole might be facing comparisons to 24, but his character is no Jack Bauer. 24 was part of a wave of spy shows and movies that brought the genre down to Earth during the early 2000s. 24, The Bourne Identity and Bond reboot Casino Royale largely ditched the gadgets and gloss in favor of more real-world concerns. 24's relentless pacing and great characters saw it run for nine seasons and a spinoff titled 24: Legacy, while CTU agent Jack Bauer reminds Sutherland's most famous character.
