One of the stars of Covenant has advocated for the planned Alien movie following Michael Fassbender’s character David. The Alien franchise kicked off with 1979’s Ridley Scott sci-fi horror classic. The director returned to the helm in 2012 with the prequel Prometheus, which introduced Michael Fassbender as the morally gray android David. Although David appeared in the 2017 sequel Covenant and there was a plan to bring him back for a third movie in a prequel trilogy, the newest movie, 2024’s Romulus, took place in a different time and featured an entirely different cast of characters.
