The PC version of Kingdom Hearts has been locked away on the Epic Games Store ever since 2021 but fortunately, those patient Steam users who held out hope that the series would one day land on Valve’s storefront have been rewarded. A bizarre mash-up of Disney and Final Fantasy, the adventures of Sora, Donald, and Goofy have leaped from platform to platform ever since the original game debuted on the PlayStation 2 in 2002. It took nearly two decades for the trilogy, and the various spinoffs, to drop on PC but even then, Epic’s exclusivity was a dealbreaker for many.
