John Lithgow has been a staple in Hollywood movies and TV shows for decades now. Though he has played a handful of leading roles, Lithgow is best known for his memorable supporting characters and villains. He played villains in Cliffhanger (1993), Dexter, and Shrek (2001), and appeared in a supporting capacity in titles like The Crown, Perry Mason, Pet Sematary (2019), Interstellar (2014), and How I Met Your Mother.
