Jessica Gunning’s breakout role as Martha Scott in Baby Reindeer has earned her an Emmy, and her win serves as a reminder that the English actress previously starred in a criminally underrated series from 2021. Gunning has been acting (on the screen) since 2007, starring in various TV shows, ranging from a guest appearance in Doctor Who to a recurring role in Law & Order: UK. However, Gunning rose to prominence when she was cast to play Martha in the cast of Baby Reindeer, a 2024 Netflix black comedy-drama miniseries.
