How I Met Your Father season 2 seems to be leading Jesse away to go out on tour with Meredith, and though this doesn't look good for his future with Sophie, it could ultimately be for the better. The romance that barely started in How I Met Your Father season 1 established Sophie and Jesse as the will-they-won't-they relationship of the series. Unfortunately, Jesse's sudden kiss with Meredith temporarily placed them in the "they won't" category. Still, A relationship with Meredith and a trip on tour are likely to help round out Jesse's character— ultimately making him a better fit for Sophie.
