The Old Man becomes a streaming success in season 2. Based on the book of the same name by Thomas Perry, FX’s drama/thriller follows a former CIA operative living off-the-grid in Vermont who, after killing an intruder who breaks into his home, goes on the run while the FBI attempts to apprehend him because of their complicated past involving the Soviet-Afghan War. Jeff Bridges and John Lithgow lead The Old Man cast alongside E.J. Bonilla, Bill Heck, Leem Lubany, Alia Shawkat, Gbenga Akinnagbe, Amy Brenneman, Navid Negahban, and Jacqueline Antaramian.
