Jackie Chan has had a cross-cultural appeal for a number of decades. The Hong Kong-born star began his career in his birthplace. He had his first on-screen role when he was just eight years old, acting in the 1962 film Big and Little Wong Tin Bar. After that, the star later played roles in movies alongside big stars such as Bruce Lee, with whom he acted in 1972’s Fist of Fury. Other 1970s Chan films included Chinese Hercules, Facets of Love, Fist to Fist, and The Golden Lotus.
