It’s Been Over 10 Years, And I’m Still Not Over Gale Boetticher’s Death In Breaking Bad

I don’t know how many times I’ve rewatched Breaking Bad, but no matter the amount, the murder of Gale Boetticher still shocks and upsets me. There have been a few smart cooks on Breaking Bad throughout the show’s five seasons, but I don’t care about any of them the way I do Gale Boetticher. From his first appearance in season 3, episode 6, “Sunset”, I was hooked on the sweet, nerdy, scientist who seems both out of place in the brutal world of Breaking Bad and perfectly at home in the lab.
