Stranger in a Strange Land has been talked about as becoming both a blockbuster movie and a prestige TV show. American author Robert A. Heinlein published Stranger in a Strange Land in 1961, and is a story of a human raised on Mars (by Martians) and returned to Earth in early adulthood. The novel is his 20th in a bibliography that contains 32 novels, 59 short stories, and 16 collections during his lifetime. The most notable adaptation of any one of his works is probably the cult classic Starship Troopers. Surprisingly, Heinlein's works have not been widely adapted to film and television save for a handful of examples.
