The Invisible Man 2 gets a new update from original movie director Leigh Whannell, and it’s not good news. Based on the iconic Universal monster, The Invisible Man was released in 2020, with Elizabeth Moss starring as Cecilia, a woman being hunted by her abusive ex-boyfriend. The film was a hit critically and commercially, and the ending leaves the door open for more story, but few concrete updates have emerged about a potential Invisible Man 2. Moss addressed the sequel earlier this year, saying that they are “closer than [they] have ever been” to making the movie happen.
