Weapon-breaking is a major part of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle‘s approach to combat, but as luck would have it, there’s at least one complete exception to this rule. Although fragile weapons can be a controversial feature in many games, The Great Circle generally makes great use of the concept. Even if a sledgehammer falling apart after a few hits doesn’t make very much sense, it adds a lot of impact to the melee, and constantly swapping out weapons makes for an engaging scavenging process and a fun sense of variety.
