As Netflix continues to prepare for the fourth season of The Witcher, I realize where Jaskier’s (Joey Batey) story will probably lead, and I’m not ready for the heartbreak it might bring. After successfully expanding to video games and other media, Andrzej Sapkowski’s The Witcher book series got its first English-language adaptation thanks to Netflix in 2019. The show’s first season was a big success, but season 2 sparked a lot of controversy due to the changes it made to the characters and their stories, especially to Yennefer (Anya Chalotra).
