Heading into the Early Access release of Hyper Light Breaker, a new launch trailer for the game has given potential players a significant preview of what to expect. Originally announced in 2022, Hyper Light Breaker is the third game to be released by indie developer Heart Machine, and a prequel to the studio’s 2016 debut title, Hyper Light Drifter. Despite being a follow-up to Drifter, however, Breaker differs significantly in terms of genre and gameplay, being an open-world, co-op roguelike with 3D action combat.
