Netflix's Big Mouth spinoff Human Resources brings back some actors and characters from the original series, but others in the Human Resources cast make their debut in the spinoff. Human Resources has various returning characters from Big Mouth, such as Maury, Connie, Mona, and Tito, but it also introduces new monsters, starting with Emmy the lovebug. While hormone monsters are still central to the show, other monsters take center stage, too, including shame wizards, logic rocks, ambition gremlins, and even need monsters. Human Resources sees the monsters in their individual working relationships with the humans assigned to them, but it also shows teamwork when their humans are particularly overwhelmed.
