One of the best ways to overcome Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty's series of difficult challenges is through co-op multiplayer, but the game doesn't do a great job of explaining how co-op progression and saves work. Players can summon AI allies, most of whom are based on actual historic figures from China's Three Kingdoms period, along with friends or random online players. While it's possible to play through the whole game solo, players will want their friends on their side when they take on some of Wo Long's toughest bosses.
