Desmond Hart is perhaps the most intriguing character so far in Dune: Prophecy, played by Travis Fimmel, who perfectly embodies the seasoned warrior. In addition to Fimmel, the cast of Dune: Prophecy includes Emily Watson, Mark Strong, and Jodhi May. In just the first two episodes of Dune: Prophecy, Fimmel’s Desmond successfully persuades Strong and May’s characters, the Emperor and Empress of the Imperium, to side with him. On the other hand, Desmond also frightens Watson’s Valya Harkonnen, the powerful Mother Superior of the Bene Gesserit.
