Super Bowl LVII is coming up this Sunday, February 12, and as usual, companies that are seeking to run advertisements during the big game are paying top dollar. But just how much does it cost this year for a 30-second ad? The average price of a 30-second ad this year on Fox’s broadcast was between $6 million and $7 million, Fox ad sales boss Mark Evans told Deadline.
Some ads reached more than $7 million, but the average was a bit lower. Fox officially sold through its entire ad inventory for the big game on the week of January 23.
The Super Bowl is historically one of the most-watched TV events of the year in the US, which explains the super-sized ad fees.
