Prime Video’s long-gestating animated series Hazbin Hotel finally produced a full season in 2024, and it has already been renewed for a second. Created by Vivienne Medrano, the series follows Charlie Morningstar, the princess of Hell who dreams of opening a hotel for sinners in which they can rehabilitate their souls to avoid being destroyed due to overpopulation in the underworld. Despite its heady high-concept ideas, Hazbin Hotel shines because of its catchy songs, relatable characters, and fascinating use of animation to tell its story.
