John Carpenter’s Halloween left a couple of plot holes, but one in particular has already been fixed twice, though in very different ways. The Halloween movie saga has been retconned a couple of times, making way for different timelines, each with its own explanation of why Michael Myers is the way he is and is so difficult to kill, and of course, none of them have been safe from plot holes. However, the original Halloween movie has one plot hole that has raised many questions over the years, and none of the possible answers to it have been fully satisfying.
