Gunna has released his fifth studio album One of Wun on Friday (May 10) via YSL Records and 300 Entertainment.
The 20-track project includes collaborations with Offset (“Prada Dem”), Normani (“$$$”), Leon Bridges (“Clear My Rain”) and Roddy Ricch (“Let It Breathe”). Previously released single “Prada Dem” reached No. 54 on the Billboard Hot 100 and No. 20 on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs. He also previously dropped “whatsapp (wassam).” Gunna’s collab with Normani arrives two weeks after he hopped on her “1:59” single from Normani’s upcoming, highly-anticipated debut album Dopamine, which debuted at No. 2 on R&B Digital Song Sales this week (chart dated May 11).
One of Wun arrives one year after his last studio album A Gift & a Curse, which peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 and reached No. 1 on Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums. It was his first full-length release since being released from jail. A Gift & a Curse featured Gunna’s Hot 100 No. 4 smash “fukumean,” which topped Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs (for five weeks) and Rhythmic Airplay (for two weeks).
The Calvin Clausell Jr.-designed Gunna album artwork maintains the floral theme from A Gift & a Curse, with Gunna’s face covered by a sheer white scarf sporting a mix of blue and white flower petals.
Gunna is currently embarking on his Bittersweet Tour (with special guest Flo Milli), which kicked off on Saturday (May 4) in Columbus, Ohio. The tour will run until June 11, where the rapper will perform a final hometown show at Atlanta’s State Farm Arena.
