Daisy Ridley's Rey Skywalker will rebuild the Jedi Order in Star Wars: New Jedi Order, and given the timeline and events of Star Wars' current shows, it seems unavoidable for Grogu to appear in the movie as one of her students. The Mandalorian co-creator Dave Filoni revealed during the Lucasfilm Studio Showcase at Star Wars Celebration 2023 that the series will soon come to an end, with a movie capping off Din Djarin's story. Though the titular Mandalorian's adventures coming to a close doesn't ensure the same of the famous little foundling, as much of Grogu's character still remains unexplored with little time remaining in his own series.
