Fourth Wing author Rebecca Yarros shares her first reaction to the early scripts for Amazon’s television adaptation. Written by Yarros, the Empyrean series – currently consisting of Fourth Wing, Iron Flame, and Onyx Storm – follows the 20-year-old Violet Sorrengail as she battles deadly challenges at Basgiath War College, training to become a dragon rider while navigating intense rivalries and a forbidden romance. In October 2023, it was announced that a television adaptation of the romantic fantasy series was in the works for Amazon Prime Video.
