Audiences have been shipping Din Djarin with various The Mandalorian characters for the past four years, so why hasn’t Star Wars explored the possibilities? Din Djarin is a fascinating character – he has a tragic backstory, he’s unquestionably loyal and trustworthy, he’s honorable and personable, and his dynamic with Grogu has made him almost universally beloved. Even with his helmet on, Din Djarin, as portrayed collectively by Pedro Pascal, Brendan Wayne, and Lateef Crowder, has an undeniable presence and chemistry with most of the characters he meets. Star Wars could use that to its advantage if it were so inclined.
