Jenna Ortega has quickly become the slasher genre’s it girl, but some of her horror movies are better than others. Beginning her career as a child actor on Disney Channel, Ortega initially received widespread recognition for her role as Young Jane in the CW series Jane the Virgin from 2014 to 2019. Ortega’s big break into the mainstream consciousness came in 2019, however, when she starred as Joe’s impressionable neighbor Ellie Alves in the Netflix thriller series You.
