Once the player’s options for exploration open up in Dragon Age: The Veilguard, they must choose which of two pivotal story locations to visit first: Dock Town or Treviso. The player chooses one or the other by traveling through the corresponding eluvian portal in the Crossroads. Each houses the headquarters of an important Dragon Age faction that Rook wishes to partner with: Dock Town is the harbor district of Minrathous, home to the Shadow Dragons resistance, and Treviso is a high-rising city of zip lines and gondolas, home to the Antivan Crows, a guild of thieves and assassins.
