Disney has created another Peter Pan adaptation in Peter Pan & Wendy, and this is the perfect opportunity to tell a different story from Wendy's various other onscreen adventures in Neverland. Previous Peter Pan film adaptations that tell the story of the boy who never grows up have revolved around the same basic events. In the original book written by J.M. Barrie, however, the narrator teased that Wendy and her brothers had several different adventures during their visit to Peter's home in Neverland. Consequently, it may be time for Disney's Peter Pan & Wendy to take a stab at a different tale.
