Disney’s Moana Plans Will Give Dwayne Johnson A Near-Unbreakable Remake Record

Moana 2, the animated sequel to the 2016 film, has recently been announced after being kept a secret for quite some time, and it gives Dwayne Johnson an unprecedented record. Fans have been speculating about Moana's sequel for 8 years now, so it came as a surprise when, all of a sudden, Disney revealed the film would be released this November. Early last year, Moana's live-action remake had been announced for 2025, so a sequel didn't seem to be part of the studio's plans.
