Dirty Dancing 2 Faces Another Big Setback With Release Delayed Over One Year

The Dirty Dancing 2 release date has been pushed back by more than a year as the film encounters a new setback. Released in 1987, the original Dirty Dancing stars Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey, telling the story of Frances "Baby" Houseman, who falls in love with dance instructor Johnny Castle while vacationing at a resort with her family. A sequel to the film from director Jonathan Levine was announced in 2020 and subsequently set for a February 2024 release.
