Phil Coulson recently returned from the grave in Marvel Comics continuity, though that isn’t to say he’s escaped death – far from it, in fact. Indeed, Coulson has literally become Death after bonding with the newly-created Death Stone. Ever since then, Coulson has wondered why he was chosen by the Death Stone. And now, it seems he’s finally found out why: to be Spider-Man’s new mentor.
