In fact, it's clear that he quite enjoys his intense healing factor because it allows him to dive headfirst into danger without fear of dying. However, this doesn't mean that he's never had his regrets. Thus, it's not a surprise that Deadpool has ideas of what a life without powers would be, and the answer to that is very much in-character for him.
