Dead & Company Returning to Vegas for Second Sphere Residency: Here’s How to Get Tickets

All products and services featured are independently chosen by editors. However, Billboard may receive a commission on orders placed through its retail links, and the retailer may receive certain auditable data for accounting purposes.

Dead & Company is taking over the Sphere in Las Vegas for a second time to celebrate the band’s 10-year anniversary. The new 18-show residency brings a fully immersive concert experience that’ll transform how you watch the group perform. The rock band joins the list of legendary artists taking over Sin City, but with a twist. Instead of performing on a simple stage, the Sphere gives a 360-degree view filled with graphics associated with the band — and that includes the classic dancing bears.

After announcing their final tour back in 2022, the rock stars are not ready to leave the stage yet. This version of the Grateful Dead — featuring founding members Bob Weir and Mickey Hart alongside John Mayer and the band’s longtime collaborators Oteil Burbridge, Jeff Chimenti and Jay Lane — are now offering additional opportunities to see them play for a limited time.

Following an artist presale on Dec. 10, tickets are now live on ticketmaster and various ticket resell sites. The Dead & Company: Dead Forever residency will run from March 20 through May 17. With tickets selling out, you don’t want to wait too long and risk missing out on this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

How to Get Tickets to Dead & Company Online

To help you find Dead & Co. tickets online, ShopBillboard rounded up some of the best cheap ticket sites to see the band live at the Sphere.

Ticketmaster

Ticketmaster is the official ticket distributer for Dead & Co. residency tickets with options starting as low as $205 (at the time of this writing). In case the date you’re looking for or number of tickets needed is sold out, there are a few resale ticketing sites offering options.

StubHub

You can find Dead & Co. tickets from $141 through StubHub, which offers an interactive map to choose where in the venue you’d like to sit. Options can also be customized by price and number of tickets, and you can also include the estimated fees in the price to avoid any surprises at checkout. Your purchase will also be covered by the site’s FanProtect, which you can learn about here.

Vivid Seats

Another affordable option is Vivid Seats, which has tickets to see Dead & Co. from $150. The site lets you sort options based on prices and how good of a deal you’re getting, and provides an interactive map that lets you choose what seats you want. Every purchase is covered with Vivid Seats’ 100% Buyer Guarantee and you can see what’s included here. Vivid Seats’ rewards program also gets you your 11th ticket free after ten purchases. For additional savings: orders of $200+ can receive $20 off when you use the code BB2024 at checkout.

Seat Geek

Seat Geek is offering tickets to Dead & Co. Sphere shows for as little as $128 and uses a ranking system to distinguish the best deals. If a ticket option is ranked a “one” it’s considered the worst, but tickets labeled a 10 are some of the best deals. Bonus offer: first purchases can get $10 off orders of $250+ when you use the code BILLBOARD10 at checkout.

Gametime

For last-minute Dead & Co. tickets, consider Gametime, which has tickets starting at $130 right now. Tickets options are labeled based on dollars off, what’s the cheapest, and which option is considered the best deal. An interactive venue map also allows you to click exactly what area you want to sit in and displays the cheapest ticket option for the section.

What Are the Best Seats At the Sphere?

One Billboard editor claims the 100 sections are some of the best seats at the Sphere for its “pretty epic and obstructed” views. You might be able to get similar sights also from the 200 and 400 sections though, which are only slightly further away from the stage.

With travel deals going on, you can also score additional savings on hotels around the area, flights and even tickets to see other artists performing in Las Vegas.
